December to February SS quarter
There will be a singing class meeting in the sanctuary. We will primarily sing through seasonal music from the new Sing the Story hymnal. There will be some new pieces for us to discover and some familiar ones to get re-acquainted with! In the weeks before Christmas, some time during this class will also be used to prepare a cantata for the Christmas Eve service. Everyone is welcome to attend, even if you do not plan to sing in the cantata choir.

Who are your Mennonite neighbours? We have a rich diversity of Mennonites in Ontario but do we know who they are - their history, faith practices and lifestyles? Through different speakers each week we will learn about Old Colony, Waterloo-Markham Mennonite, Brethren in Christ, Mennonite Brethren, and many more. And hopefully we'll learn more about who we are - our similarities and commonalities in the foundation of our faith in Christ. Facilitated by Cath Woolner in the southwest lobby.

What's New(s) in Canadian Mennonite? Using the "For Discussion" questions that
accompany the magazine's feature articles as a springboard, come prepared to discuss topics of interest from a broad spectrum of past and present issues. Those interested in taking the class should begin saving their copies of Canadian Mennonite to have on hand. Copies of older issues will be provided for pre-class reading.
